Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that generates results. Pomona People Search does not retain a copy of those queries on its servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems record routine server-log details, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those services apply.
How We Use the Data
The limited data described above supports site operations, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Pomona offices, the Los Angeles County RR/CC, the Los Angeles Superior Court, the County Assessor, California agencies, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each destination controls its own privacy practices. Information submitted there is governed by that destination’s policy, including data entered for sponsored search results.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and technical providers process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatically collected data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as the stated purposes require. Because Pomona People Search has no user accounts, it holds no site password or member profile for you.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted personal details so they can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act framework. Because Pomona People Search holds little visitor data, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs. Submit a request through the Contact page. Government records held by Pomona, the Los Angeles County RR/CC, the Los Angeles Superior Court, the County Assessor, or a California agency remain under that custodian’s control. Requests to correct or remove those records must go to the responsible office. Access to government records is separately governed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code §§ 7920.000-7931.000, and other record-specific laws.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after a revision is posted means you accept the updated policy.
